Description of Daclahep

Daclahep 60mg Tablet is used in combination with other medications such as sofosbuvir, interferon and ribavirin for the treatment of hepatitis C infection.
On using this medication you may experience side effects such as nausea, headache, weakness, fatigue, breakdown of the red cell, diarrhoea, drowsiness, dizziness and skin rash. If your reactions persist or become worse over time seek the help of your health care provider right away.
Before using this medication you should tell your doctor if: you are allergic to any of the ingredient contained within Daclahep 60mg Tablet, you have allergy towards any food/medicine/substance, you are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs, herbal products or dietary supplements, you have hepatitis B/ liver/heart/ disorders, you suffer from seizures, St. John’s wort, you recently had a liver transplant, you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are nursing a baby.

Uses of Daclahep Tablet

Daclahep 60mg Use  in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.

Daclahep Tablet works

Daclahep Tablet is an antiviral medication. It works by lowering a load of hepatitis C virus in the body and removing the virus from the blood over a period of time.
In addition to its intended effect, Daclahep 60mg Tablet may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek medical attention immediately. This is not an exhaustive list of side effects. Please inform your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction to the medication.
  •  Fatigue
  •  Headache
  •  Nausea
  •  Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping)
  •  Anemia.

Warnings

Daclatasvir should never be taken on its own. It must be used in combination with other antiviral Daclahep 60mg. Make sure to read any safety infomation about sofobuvir and ribavirin if you are taking these with daclatasvir.
  • Prior to beginning treatment with Daclatasvir, tell your doctor if:
  • you have had liver problems and/or liver transplant
  • you have had heart problems
  • you are takijng any other prescription or non-prescription medicines
  • you are pregnant or your partner is pregnant
  • you are trying to become pregnant or your partner is trying to become pregnant
  • you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed

Storage

  • Store Daclahep 60mg at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F).
  • Store DaclaHep in its original container. Do not mix different medications together in the same container.
  • Store it in a cool, dry place, protected from light and refrigerated when necessary. Improper storage can affect the effectiveness and shelf life of your medicine.
  • Consider storing your medications separately from your other family members. You can put them on a different shelf, or in a different cabinet or drawer.
