Susten 200 MG Capsule is obtained from plant sources and has a similar action to the female hormone, progesterone. It is used to correct menstrual disorders caused due to a deficiency of this hormone in the body. It is also used as a component in hormone replacement therapy and for maintenance of early pregnancy under specific circumstances.

Susten 200 work

Susten 200 MG contains a Progesterone supplement, this is a female hormone and if a woman doesn’t produce enough of it, it can cause her to have irregular menstrual cycles and to have trouble maintaining a pregnancy. This supplement behaves as the natural hormone progesterone and performs their progestational functions, such as to stimulate changes in vagina, uterus and also the luteal actions, as noticed in early pregnancy. It also reduces the risk of developing uterus cancer by preventing the thickening of the uterus lining.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next scheduled dose. Contact your doctor if you have missed more than one dose.
Overdose
Contact your doctor if an overdose is suspected. The short-term effects of an overdose could be a headache, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.

Warnings

Pregnancy - Susten Capsule is recommended for use in pregnancy only if the need is clinically established. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Breast-feeding - Use of this medicine is not recommended if you are breastfeeding. This medicine can pass into the breast milk and may harm the nursing infant.
General warnings
Dizziness - Use of this medicine can cause dizziness and impair the ability to perform tasks requiring cognition and alertness. Caution is advised while driving or performing other tasks that demand a high level of mental alertness. You are advised to take the medicine at recommended times to avoid any such effect.
